how we started

Hello and welcome to USAFootballPools.com. The website began back in 2000 when a pool manager at work needed a better way to run his survivor pool. He had been updating a spreadsheet every week and emailing it out to everyone -an extremely tedious and time‑consuming process. We took all the survivor‑pool logic he was managing manually and converted it into a website. He was incredibly grateful, telling us how much time and frustration it saved him.

For the next few years, the site continued to evolve. Eventually, we realized that every pool manager should be able to benefit from the same tools and time‑saving features. So we opened the platform to the public. The feedback was immediate and overwhelmingly positive -especially from users who weren’t very computer‑savvy. They loved how easy the site was to use and how much time they saved by ditching spreadsheets forever.
